At Dayspring Hospice, we understand that pets are family. For many of our patients, their furry companions provide comfort, companionship, and joy, even during life’s most challenging times. That’s why we’re thrilled to share a heartwarming success story about Aubie, one of the beloved pets who has found a new home through our Hospice Pet Relocation program.
This program, made possible through our partnership with Wiregrass Animal Group (W.A.G.) in Dothan, AL, ensures that pets of hospice patients are cared for and rehomed when their owners can no longer care for them. The bond between a person and their pet is profound, and it’s our mission to honor that bond by finding loving homes where these pets can thrive.
Aubie’s story is a testament to the power of compassion and community. Thanks to W.A.G., Aubie has found a new family to love and care for him. It’s moments like these that remind us of the importance of this program and the impact it has on the lives of pets and their new families alike.
