At DaySpring Hospice, we cherish every opportunity to connect with our community, celebrate our partners, and bring a little extra joy to the residents and staff we’re privileged to serve alongside. Recently, we’ve had so much fun celebrating National Assisted Living Week and spreading smiles across South Alabama.
Here are just a few of the highlights:
🥤 Floats at Kelley Place & Madison Heights of Enterprise
We beat the summer heat with refreshing Coke and Root Beer floats at Kelley Place and Madison Heights of Enterprise Senior Living Communities. What better way to celebrate National Assisted Living Facility Week than with sweet treats and big smiles?
🏈 Tailgate Time at Andalusia Manor
It was all about football fun at Andalusia Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center! We hosted a tailgate party complete with a festive setup from Brittany and joined by our sweet RN Case Manager, Lori. Such a fun way to celebrate with residents and staff!
🔥 S’mores in Geneva
Over at EE & L Senior Living in Geneva, we gathered for gooey, chocolatey s’mores with our friends there. Big thanks to Michelle for making it such a special time!
🤠 Gold Rush at Serenity South in Troy
Residents and staff at Serenity South Senior Living in Troy got into the spirit with a fun “Searching for Gold” celebration, led by our own Ashlee Stephens, Community Liaison. It was a big-time hit and a wonderful way to mark National Assisted Living Week!
🥜 Boiled Peanuts at Enterprise Health & Rehab
Nothing says Alabama like fresh boiled peanuts! We treated residents and staff at Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation Center to this classic Southern snack. A big thank you for letting us share in the fun—the peanuts (and the smiles) were a huge success.
🎸 A Visit from Elvis
One of our most memorable moments had to be a special Elvis tribute visit—because who doesn’t love a little music and nostalgia? It brought energy, laughter, and plenty of dancing to the celebration!
🍂 Fall Bazaar at Enterprise Health & Rehab
We wrapped things up with a stop at the Fall Bazaar at Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation Center. It was a joy to visit, share in the festivities, and see the wonderful setup from our own Ashlee.
At DaySpring Hospice, we’re reminded every day that joy and connection are just as important as care and comfort. From floats and peanuts to tailgates and Elvis tunes, we are grateful to be part of such vibrant, caring communities.
