Last month, as Hurricane Helene swept through Western North Carolina, the devastation left many in need of critical support. At DaySpring Hospice Foundation, we felt deeply called to help our neighbors in need, especially those working tirelessly to care for patients despite the challenges. We connected with Compassionate Care Western North Carolina (CCWNC), a locally-owned hospice organization directly affected by the storm, to coordinate our support.
After assessing their immediate needs, we began assembling supplies to help sustain their staff as they continued their essential work. Today, we are grateful to share that a shipment of these much-needed resources is on its way, offering a boost to those working to provide compassionate care in the hardest-hit areas. In addition to this physical support, we’re holding CCWNC and the affected communities in our thoughts and prayers, united in our belief that we are all stronger together.
Recently, our friends at CCWNC provided an update on how these supplies have positively impacted their recovery efforts. Their message, along with a link to contribute further to the relief, is available on their social media.
Thank you for keeping CCWNC and the people of Western North Carolina in your hearts as they continue on their journey to recovery. Your support makes a difference.
